About
Yoga has taught me so much about who I am as a person and how to treat my body.
During the last 13 years of practicing, I've also developed a wish to share everything I have learned throughout my own practice, so that others too could experience the same wonderful benefits I have gained. This was my motivation to take a step forward and look for a yoga teacher training to make it happen, and I found Kaia Yoga as the perfect school to graduate and to make wonderful friends.
Yoga brings me relaxation through deep stretches, flexibility and strength. Every time I allow my mind and body to flow with the breath, I create a peaceful space in my physical body and my soul.
One of my favorite things in yoga is the perception of the anatomy and I like to invite my students to join me and to understand what happens to the body on each asana (yoga posture), so they can feel safe during the class to try something new and to keep reaching forward.
It is noticeable their feeling of confidence every time they succeed on a challenging pose, and I love to hear their reports of courage and self motivation, not only during the class but when they need to unchain their fears in life, to obstinate and never give up.
From my experience for my former and beloved profession as a flight attendant, the awareness that discipline and balance are essential in many situations, always remained with me.
Now as a yoga teacher I can bring this into every pose that demands the use of focus and attention.
Also, the responsibility to treat human beings with respect and to act with kindness, that used to be a routine inside the airplane, now can be helpful on my classes, while I guide my students to flow with love on their mats and in their daily lives.
